Here is a very brief A to Z of the booking process
The Booking Process Explained in Plain English:

ENQUIRIES:
  • The enquiry is received by telephone or through the website 'Get A Quote' form.
  • If necessary, the agency and the customer talk or email briefly to discuss the details of the event and the requirements.

QUOTATIONS:

  • The agency gathers quotations from artists who match the requirements, and sends the quotes and the artist information to the customer, along with a booking form.

BOOKING DEPOISITS:

  • The customers chooses an artist from the details supplied and then makes a booking by filling out a booking form and paying either a deposit or full payment.

CONFIRMING THE BOOKING:

  • The customer and the chosen artist are then sent booking agreements to sign and return to the agency.
  • This formalises the booking and gives a clear schedule of expectations/requests/times/fee, etc.
  • As soon as both agreements are received back by the agency, the booking is then formally confirmed to both sides in writing.

FINALISING EVERYTHING:

  • At this time, the customer and the artist are then put in touch with each other, in order to arrange the specific details of the day between them.
  • The agency still plays an active role, where required, in finalising all the arrangements and stays in touch with both sides at regular intervals during the build-up to the event date.

FINAL PREPARATIONS:
  • A week before the event date, the agency will contact both sides again to make sure that all the arrangements, directions, times, refreshments, etc. are all in agreed.

INVOICING & PAYMENTS:
  • Approximately 8 weeks before the event date, the customer will be invoiced for any outstanding fee. (This is paid to the agency, not to the artist.)

FEEDBACK & FOLLOW UP:
  • Shortly after the event date, the artist(s) is paid his/her fee by the agency.
  • The customer is emailed a feedback questionnaire.
  • Any follow-up required with artist or client is actioned as required.
