Quality Assurance - for the Client and for the Artist

Because we also professional musicians and not just a booking agency, we not only seek to protect our clients interests but also those of our artists too. We know the pitfalls of playing at live events, travelling issues, and all the other factors that have to be considered such as insurance, safety and effective communication. We take care of our artists and our clients in many ways, as advised by 2 of the leading UK authorities in this industry; The Musician's Union and The Association of Entertainment Agencies.

What do our Artists say about us?

"I think you are doing a great job."

"Thank you, you have been a good friend to me over the last 2 years. Your agency rocks! - the best!"

"It's a pleasure to work with a proper agency for a change."

"I just wanted to say thank you for the many gigs you have secured for me recently, I really appreciate it."

"Before I graduated from music college, life was tough and getting regular guitar work when you already have a young family has not always been easy. So you have been a life saver."

''So what happens when I am booked to play for a client?"

- Every booking is secured with a contract to be signed by each side. We never confirm without this.

- Every booking is secured with a deposit. We never confirm without a down-payment of £45.00.

- Every 2 hr+ booking contains clauses for reasonable 'breaks' plus 'light refreshments'.

- We protect our artists from unreasonable hours by including sensible 'rest' times and duration limits.

- We issue telephone and email details to the customer and artist alike, to facilitate communication.

- We provide maps, directions, technical advice and, after the event, provide customer feedback.

- We negotiate reasonable fees, accompanied by any travel / flight / accommodation expenses, as and when necessary.
Want to join us?
- Here's some guidelines to help you send us all the information we need:
WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU:

1. PROVEN HISTORY OF PUBLIC PERFORMING:
C.V. / biography, training, background information about you.

2. GOOD QUALITY PROMOTIONAL CD / MP3 / DVD

This is essential in the UK and is required by large venues and many listed buildings / stately homes, etc.

6. ELECTRICAL SAFETY COMPLIANCE
Portable Appliance Test (P.A.T.) certificate for any amplifiers/PA that you use.
WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

1. MYSPACE OR YOUTUBE MUSIC LINKS:
We need actual downloads of your music. We cannot obtain this from MySpace or YouTube, etc. These are just streaming sites (sites that provide ''playback'' as opposed to ''downloads." Please send us a CD, DVD, or email your MP3's to us instead.

2. EMBEDDED ADVERTISING IN PHOTOS OR VIDEOS:
If sending in media, please do not include references to third-party phone numbers, names or websites. i.e. don't send us a photo or video with ''yourname.co.uk'' displayed on it.

3. POOR QUALITY OR INCOMPLETE MEDIA:
Please do not send physical photos or any poor quality photos. Photos and music files should be on CD/DVD or emailed to us, ideally colour JPEGS & 6-10 MP3 tracks, around a minute or longer each.

4. OVERDUBBED / RE-MASTERED RECORDINGS:
Please only send in demo music that accurately reflects the artist(s) that you are promoting, thus our customers will know how you will actually sound at a live performance.

For example, If you are a soloist who does not use backing tracks, then adding a second guitar or other sound effects and other instruments to the demo will cause confusion. However, if backing tracks, a second instrument, singers etc. are a genuine part of your normal live performance, then yes, please include these.

In summary, we need these 3 things:

- Completed application form

- MP3 music - either as email attachments, downloads or a CD/DVD.
